Valentines day is coming up in less than a month, so I decided to make some love-themed art. Love isn’t always easy, is often confusing and weird and accompanied by hate. And that’s what the artwork is talking about. Is it love or hate? Or do you love hate? Or hate love? Both the colours and the words are contrasting, and the glitchy, broken text effect shows how weird, confusing and unstable feelings can be.

On the first day of the new year I started a new challenge: make art every day. Even though it’s my passion, forcing myself to create something everyday was hard. I have a nine to five job as a designer and developer, and overtime isn’t uncommon in this business. So most of the days I’m pretty tired and not in the mood to work even more. I thought I should dedicate my first post on this blog to another first: my first week in a new country. In July I moved to Norway ‘for real’, after studying here for three months earlier this year. Here are some pictures taken in Oslo during my first week, as well as some views from a small road trip I did during this period.
